Rules and Regulations

  1. All motor vehicles must meet the safety requirements of the State of Florida.
  2. Faculty and staff must have either a current parking pass hanging from the rear view mirror, or a parking decal affixed to the lower left driver’s side corner of the windshield.
  3. Students, faculty, and staff must have a valid university parking sticker in order to receive parking privileges on the campus.
  4. Office of Campus Safety will maintain a copy of registration information.
  5. Only University-owned vehicles on official business may park on the grass or University walkways.
  6. The campus speed limit is 15 miles per hour.
  7. Penalties for violating parking regulations are as follows (see also: Schedule of Fines in Section VI and the Parking and Traffic Regulations):
    • Vehicles improperly parked on the grass, walkways, service roads, and guest parking area or in unauthorized parkways may be towed away at the owner鈥檚 expense.
    • Unauthorized vehicles (vehicles which are not registered with Campus Safety as evidenced by a University sticker) will be subject to a fine or towed at the owner鈥檚 expense.
    • Speeding, reckless driving, drunk driving, or improper or false registration of a vehicle may result 45 in disciplinary action such as a fine, warning, or suspension.
    • Fines must be paid within 15 days to the cashier in the Office of the Bursar. The Office of the Bursar will notify the Office of Campus Safety of payment. If the fines are not paid, they may escalate and/or negatively impact student registration.

Parking on Florida 久久精品福利资源 campus is a privilege, not a right, and is available to persons driving on campus solely under the rules of Florida 久久精品福利资源. Motorist may obtain information and/or assistance from any campus safety officer on duty, or by calling the campus safety department at 305-626-3771.
