The Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) at Florida ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ is designed for certified special education teachers who have completed a Master of Education (or equivalent) in special education or a related field. Admission Requirements

Full Admission

To be fully admitted to the Ed.S. in Exceptional Student Education, candidates must:

  1. Complete the Graduate Application for Admission.
  2. Hold an earned Master of Education (or equivalent) in special education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  4. Provide three (3) completed Recommendation Evaluation Forms.
  5. Submit a professional statement of goals, outlining how the Ed.S. program aligns with career aspirations.

Conditional Admission

Candidates may be granted conditional admission if they:

  1. Hold a master’s degree with a GPA of 2.75–2.99 on a 4.0 scale.
  2. Earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the first 12 credit hours of the Ed.S. program to gain full admission.
