FMU Summer Programs 

Florida ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ summer programs provide students the opportunity to engage in educational enrichment while experiencing South Florida’s HBCU. If you are interested in hosting a summer program at FMU, please complete the Facility Request Form below.
All summer programs must take place between June 8, 2025 and July 31, 2025.

STARS Academic Bridge Program
(Success Through Academic Retention and Student Engagement)
June 23 – July 26, 2025 (Summer B)

The FMU Summer Bridge Program is designed to support first-time college students in their successful academic, social, and personal transition to Florida ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·¸£Àû×ÊÔ´. Program components include enrollment in two general education courses, academic support services, skill development workshops, and cultural and social engagement activities. AIM Higher Program
(Achieve, Inspire, Mastery)
June 16 – June 27, 2025

AIM Higher is a pre-collegiate success initiative for students in grades 6 – 12. This two-week educational enrichment experience is centered around the university’s values of character, leadership, accountability, service, and scholarship. FMU Marching ROAR Band Camp
June 23 – June 28, 2025
The ROAR Summer Band Camp is a premier experience where students:

  • Work with some of Florida’s best band directors and clinicians
  • Participate in marching, concert, and jazz bands
  • Be exposed to popular, jazz, and classical literature
  • Develop advanced dance, twirling, and choreography skills
  • Experience the FMU campus and HBCU culture

Air Force Junior ROTC Program

The Air Force Junior ROTC Program welcomes high school students to participate in an 8-week program to obtain a private pilot license. Funding is provided by Air Force Junior ROTC. For more information, please contact the Department of Aviation and Safety.
