To be considered for admission into the Master of Science in Criminology program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in criminology, criminal justice, sociology, political science, or a related field. Considerations will be made for students holding degrees in other fields.
✅ Minimum GPA: A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is preferred. Conditional admission may be considered for applicants with a lower GPA based on additional qualifications.
📌 Completed Application Form – Submit an official application through the Florida ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·¸£Àû×ÊÔ´ Graduate Admissions Office.
📌 Official Transcripts – Provide official undergraduate transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
📌 Personal Statement – Please write a personal statement that succinctly explains your motivations for pursuing graduate study, highlights relevant experiences, demonstrates the personal qualities you will bring, and illustrates how our program aligns with your goals and unique perspective.
📌 Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Outline relevant work experience, research, leadership roles, and community service.
📌 Letters of Recommendation (2) – Provide two professional or academic letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with your academic and/or professional abilities.
🌍 English Proficiency Test Scores – Non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL, IELTS, or an equivalent test score unless they hold a degree from an English-speaking institution.
🌍 Transcript Evaluation – All international transcripts must be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service (e.g., WES, ECE, or NACES-accredited agency).
💼 Interview (By Invitation Only) – Some applicants may be invited to participate in a virtual or in-person interview with faculty to discuss their academic background and career interests.
