FMU sophomore sprinter Saminu Abdul-Rahseed聽was crowned NAIA Indoor Track and Field 60 Meter Dash National Champion, posting a time of 6.63.
“God’s will,” stated the young speedster from Ghana.
Furthermore, Lions senior field athlete聽聽was crowned NAIA Indoor Track and Field Triple Jump Runner-Up, leaping a distance of 15.42 meters.
“To be honest, I’ve been through hell and back to get where I’m at today,” said the Alabama native. “This is just the beginning.”
In addition, FMU sprinter聽聽produced a fifth place finish in the 60 Meter Dash, posting a time of 6.74.
All three FMU student-athletes were dubbed NAIA All-Americans.
