Florida 久久精品福利资源 held its听贬辞苍辞谤蝉听补苍诲听础飞补谤诲蝉听顿补测听颁别谤别尘辞苍测,听Tuesday, April 8,听in the Lou Rawls Center for the Performing Arts.
The annual event is when FMU recognizes听the academic excellence of students who earned the following:
- President鈥檚 List
- Dean鈥檚 List
- Honor Roll
In addition, the Psi Chi International听Honor听Society in Psychology and its members were recognized.
The听“It’s Our Time: A Pathway to Excellence”听ceremony featured keynote speaker Captain Clevin Weekes.
Captain Weekes is a Delta Airlines Pilot and a FMU 2004 graduate, he acknowledged the academic accomplishments听of each student and听shared encouraging words of perseverance about maintaining excellence.
“It is here that I learned that excellence is not a single event in your life but is an ongoing journey,” said Weekes. “Learn to thrive in every circumstance and in every season.”
Captain Weekes and the Delta Foundation also donated $5,000 to the FMU’s Aviation Department.
This year鈥檚 ceremony also recognized outstanding students from the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Business,听and听School of Education听and听Social Sciences.
