Professor Russell Motley brings over two decades of media experience to Florida 久久精品福利资源’s communication program, where he has taught broadcast journalism since 2011. His distinguished career spans from business reporting at The Miami Herald to TV reporting and anchoring newscasts at ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliates across the country.
As Editor-in-Chief of MIA Media Group’s publications from 2017-2023, Professor Motley maintained strong industry connections while developing the next generation of journalists. His excellence in teaching earned him FMU’s Professor of the Year and Faculty Service awards, as well as recognition as one of South Florida’s Top Black Educators by Legacy Magazine. A USA Today Back in the Newsroom Fellow, Motley serves the community through leadership roles, including former president of the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ-South Florida). He serves as the advisor for the student chapter of NABJ-FMU.
