FMU’s Young Women of Excellence Sweet 16 enjoyed an afternoon of learning about the etiquette of Afternoon Tea.
Twenty-five ladies gathered inside the lobby of the Lou Rawls Center for the Performing Arts that was beautifully transformed into the ideal location for FMU’s inaugural tea party in mid-April.
The Sweet 16 received fascinators as tea party adornments, and Dr. Jacqueline B. Hill, Executive Vice President and Provost who established the Young听Women听of听Excellence, Circle听of Success, served each lady tea.听
The event ended with reflections and affirmations, but not before听Mrs. Yvonne Bendross who’s an Advisory Board Member gifted the young ladies with prayer cards.
The Advisory Mentor Board supports impactful sub-events that promote leadership, community service, and networking opportunities.
We want to thank each Circle of Success mentor for their support.
